One Week Away: The Picnic That’s More Fun Than a Barrel of Bipartisan Monkeys.
Friends and Neighbors,
Mark your calendars, dust off your lawn chairs, and prepare your appetite — the Lyme-Old Lyme DTC Summer Picnic is just one week away, and it’s ready to out-do itself once again!
Join us Saturday, August 22, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the Lyme Public Hall (249 Hamburg Road) for an afternoon of great food, great company, and great conversation with your fellow Democrats — no politics degree required, just an appetite for good times (and probably potato salad).
This isn’t just any picnic. It’s the picnic. We’re excited to confirm that State Treasurer Erick Russell and State Senators Norm Needleman and Martha Marx will be joining us this year. And that’s not all — we’ve extended invitations to Democratic officials at the national, state, and local level, with more confirmations expected next week. Who else will show up? Come find out!
Beyond the star power, this is your chance to catch up with neighbors, meet fellow local Democrats, and show your support for the town committees working hard right here at home.
The details:
