Absentee Ballots for the Nov. 5 Election

If you will not be in town on Election Day (Nov. 5), please consider being a voter via Absentee Ballot.

You can pick up and fill out an application for an Absentee Ballot in person at Town Hall during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays).

Once you receive your Absentee Ballot, you must either return it in person to the Town Clerk no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4; or return it by mail to our Town Clerk no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.  (We recommend doing everything in person.)

Please note: If you return your ballot by mail, it must be received by the Town Clerk no later than 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 5.  In other words, even if the envelope is postmarked “Nov. 5,” if the Town Clerk does not receive the ballot by 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 5, it will not be counted.

We have recruited some of Lyme’s best and brightest to run for public office – highly qualified, dedicated individuals who love our town and whose expertise can really benefit our boards and commissions.  They want Lyme to stay the beautiful, historic place that it is.  And they need your vote:

  • Steven Mattson for First Selectman
  • John Kiker for Selectman and Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Judy Ulrich for Library Board
  • Jarrod Leonardo for Board of Finance
  • Susan Tyler for Board of Finance Alternate
  • Bob House for Board of Finance Alternate
  • Carol House for Planning & Zoning Commission
  • Michael James for Library Board
  • Anna González James for Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate

Be a voter on Nov. 5.
