Governor Lamont To Attend Lyme/Old Lyme Aug. 28 Fundraiser for Senator Richard Blumenthal

The Democratic Town Committees of Lyme and Old Lyme announced today that Governor Lamont will be attending their outdoor fundraiser for Senator Richard Blumenthal on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in Old Lyme.  The fundraiser is open to all area Democratic voters; the suggested donation is $25.

“We are delighted that Governor Lamont will be stopping by our fundraiser for Senator Blumenthal and demonstrating his support of the Democratic state and local candidates running for office this November,” said Old Lyme DTC Chair Christine Gianquinto.

Many of the candidates running for office in Lyme and Old Lyme are expected to be on hand at the event to greet and talk with constituents, along with State Senator Norm Needleman and Connecticut State Democratic Chair Nancy DiNardo.  The event is being held outdoors to reduce COVID risk.  All attendees are required to take the necessary steps (masks, social distancing) to keep themselves and others safe during the event.
